About Me

Hi, I’m Gabriella.

I’m an entertainment journalist based in New York City with 4 years of experience covering arts and culture across print, digital, and radio.

Currently, I’m a Film and TV Reporter at Wide Open Country, where I publish reviews, recaps, and interviews with actors and filmmakers. I also write for WhoWhatWhy, a nonprofit investigative journalism site, where I covered the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.

I like to go deep on cultural phenomena big and small. I recently completed a data journalism project on the history of bathtub scenes in Oscar-nominated films, to be published in Summer 2023.

I graduated from Harvard College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Secondary in Theater, Dance, and Media. I was a Columnist and Staff Writer for The Harvard Crimson, and an On-Air Reporter for WHRB 95.3FM (Harvard Radio Broadcasting). I also wrote for Modern Luxury, a national portfolio of luxury lifestyle magazines.

Need a writer? (Or just want to talk Tolkien, geek culture, or women in clawfoot tubs on celluloid?) Feel free to drop me a line at glombardo30@gmail.com.
